For Time Speed Distance (TSD) Car Rally, we have complete solution for tracking as well as time control.

For J S Bhurani Car Rally, SIFA was appointed as Rally Auditors. Sifa and Data Voice developed hardware and software solution for managing the 7 days rally. About 2300 KM distance was covered by 125 Cars that participated in the rally.

The control room was able to monitor the participants for:

• Diversion of route (100 meters )
• Travelling in Opposite direction
• Speed <20, Speed >Legal Limits
• Non receipt of data to the server in 5 minutes
• Non receipt of GPS (Position) data
• Pressing driver Panic on MDT
• Entry and Exit of Free Zone

Time Control

The Time Speed Distance (TSD) Rally requires random Time Control (TC) Points to assign penalty points to the Participants. SIFA provided Battery operated custom devices with RFID, Printer, and GPS & GPRS for gathering the time of participant reporting at each TC Points. Online and Offline provision to transmit the data to Server was provided as the rally route had terrains where network connectivity was not available.

The Mobile TSD Rally Time Control System was implemented successfully. Each day standings were announced within minutes of day closure and the final results were ready within 1 hour of the completion of rally, as manual penalty points were also awarded for certain activities by the participant.
