What is Baby Secure?

Baby Secure involves tagging both the mother and her new born with special band that can be read by a validator. This form of electronic tagging is far superior to the normal system of mere name tagging. Here is how the process works:

It all begins with an expectant mother registers at your hospital. Multiple special electronic band would be tied to her hand. Both band are identical to their electronic signature.

After the expectant mother gives birth, the baby/s would be tagged with the bands from her.

These tags stay on till the time mother and baby/s are discharged and leave the hospital.

When leaving the secure area, the tags of baby/s and the person carrying the baby are scanned and matched for authorization.

No case of Mistaken Identity:

After delivery, the baby would be placed in a special section before being handed over to the mother. It is at this stage accidental swapping of babies can take place. Baby Secure eliminates this possibility. With the tag on baby’s hand the hospital personnel can ascertain the unique electronic signature of the baby’s tag and match it with the tag of mother to be doubly sure the baby is being placed in the right ward.

No Possibility of landing in unwanted hands:

In the event an unauthorised person takes the baby out of the ward and tries to leave the hospital premises, he or she would be required to match his or her tags of the baby’s at the exit/entry point. Only if the tag match would the person be allowed to leave.
